Personal information
To place an order at trackyourpet.nl you have to enter a number of personal details. This information is treated strictly confidentially and not made available to third parties. The data is required for being able to process payments, sending your order and communicating updates to the order. These data can be removed from our database on request, with the exception of the data used for payment purposes (including transfers and payments via iDEAL). This information is not on the servers of trackyourpet.nl and therefore falls under the privacy rules of the relevant parties (banks and parcel services).
A customer of trackyourpet.nl receives a unique login name and code with which an order can be placed. With the same data, a customer can see which data is available and – if desired – adjust. This information is only provided to the customer and this must be handled confidentially.
Cookies
In June 2012 the cookie legislation in the Netherlands came into effect. This legislation is intended to let you know as a visitor what the site you are visiting keeps track of you. Trackyourpet.nl is also covered by this legislation and we are therefore obliged to inform you whether we use cookies, what these are and what the consequences are.
Cookies can be used for:
– remembering login name or settings
– the acquisition of surfing behavior (tracking cookies)
– keeping information on a web page during your orders (session cookies)
Trackyourpet.nl uses session cookies that are needed to handle the order. Without these cookies it is not technically possible to place orders (on any website, incidentally). After you close your internet browser, this cookie is destroyed.
In addition, we also use some tracking cookies (Google Analytics) to determine which products and which pages on our website are often and less often visited. With this we ensure that we can show you the most relevant products and information and we are better found in, among others, Google.
